Can you run pex plumbing in existing floor vents on a concrete slab to avoid Major total floor tear up? I had my water pipe replaced from outside source to house, the plumber ran pex from outside to main shutout in closet in middle of house. My wife wants front outside spigot to be reconnected. I got a quoted from a plumber who wants to tear up the concrete and run a line 15-20 feet for $6500.00. I have already been taken to the sewer by the plumber who replace my main and sewer. Thanks

Could you make like a buffalo gal and go "'round the outside" for less than that?
