Hi, I am new to this forum but nearing the actual construction start period for a new residence that will be built on Big Pine Key down near the lower 1/3rd of the Florida Keys. We are somewhere between 3 and 6 months out from getting our ROGO (Rate of Growth) allocation award that will allow us to start construction. Thus I was hoping to get some input on contractors that might be interested in such a project. Our project is a two story ICF home (exterior walls) that sits approximately 11ft above grade (on concrete columns and beam structure). The main floor is also planned to be ICF (insuldeck) but the 2nd floor is wood I-Joists. There are a couple contractors I spoke with when planning this project over 2 years ago but now we are wanting to broaden our net to get a better understanding of resources available in the general area. Appreciate any input anyone might have on this forum.

I've posted this many times. Start with a block, call the manufacturer, which will lead to a distributor, then a contractor. Orlando is the center of block molding in Fl. so you have a lot of choices.
