We are about to start our home build and I would like to have a small ground mount array, with the intention of expanding. The plan is to have the system in place that will allow us to expand as we begin to see what our actual month to month usage is over the next 12 months. I don't want oversize the system and also can't afford the bulk of it now. So, what would be the best way to proceed with this? All in one inverter? micro inverters? What brand(s) are best to focus on? I don't need or want the top of the line, but what would be the "Toyota Camry of the brands? Reliable, affordable, longevity, etc) What are reliable online stores to buy from? Thank you.

I am finding similar solutions out there to size the system, but yeah you should be able to find some panels, and if you are on grid with net metering, still be able to save money by adding it your bill essentially, so you can essential over or undersize your system at first Here's a good link
