I'm quickly approaching the drywall stage.
I'm curious if anybody has any suggestions on what to do with all those unusable sheets of drywall that will get thrown in the dumpster?

So far the only thing I've heard is to use scraps in the interior walls cavities.
Placing them between the studs before drywalling over it will help with noise at least a  little bit.  Plus save me from throwing it in a landfill.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I've heard of people shredding drywall scraps and spreading it out over there driveway. The gypsum sinks into the ground and increases the longevity of your gravel driveway.

The wall cavity is a good idea.  Space permitting I'd keep at least 1 good clean sheet on hand for any repairs that may come up.  You never know when you may need to make a repair.  Also, try making a little money if you have a lot of it.  it's free to list it on craigslist under the materials category.  make the price a "steal" and you can get rid of some of it and make money at the same time.

I had one other thought, this is also depending on how much you have.  Are you planning on building a shed or workshop or anything in the near future?  If so, save it and you could make a drab workshop look that much nicer with no added cost.
