Chris, Real nice project! Why are there so many purlins on the roof? I guess they need places to hang the building systems from? The walls look right with a top girt and intermediate girt. |

Real nice project!
Why are there so many purlins on the roof? I guess they need places to hang the building systems from? The walls look right with a top girt and intermediate girt. only 4 purlins were needed to carry the 37 ft. roof panels , the others are to carry 8 HVAC Air Handlers and an additional 15# PSF load for audio and lighting equipment over the stage. |

Chris,
Thanks for explaining the extra purlins. Sometimes we have more load than just supporting a roof. |

Chris, at that smaller gable roof at the front, is that red iron member screwed directly to the SIP panels? |

Chris - What will the exterior and interior finishes be? Do these sips require exterior cladding? How about the roof, is it water tight? If not, what roofing system is planned? This looks like a very clean building system. Thanks for posting this. |

crockervf;
This particular job will have stucco on exterior walls , standing seam steel roof and interior drywall finish. This job is too cut up to do with no cladding.
simple roofs (no valleys) can be simply taped at joints for a waterproof roof

Chris, how are those awnings put together? Is that triangle shape supporting the sides a piece of SIP panel? |

The panel cut outs from windows and doors are great for small canopies and eyebrows over windows.
