I just recently bought a new home, and planning to decorate it with new shutters. I was just wondering if anyone knows where I should go for good reliable but inexpensive shutters

Since this is a "Green Building" forum, I recommend insulating shutters. Windows can be a large percentage of your heat loss.

I will recommend you blinds.com. Just recently, I have purchased 4 window coverings from them. One having wood blinds and three having wood shutters. Along with the shutters are the easy-to-follow guidelines in installing shutters. Seeing the result, I can attest how beautiful they are to my house and i'm willing to purchase more.

Blinds.com are a good choice. If you are in north Texas, Timber Blind and Shutters are good and cheap.
