We will be fastening 1 X 3 treated furring boards to OSB sips panels.  In addition to using screws we want to bond with adhesive.  Anyone know of a product that will work well with both treated lumber ,  and OSB  ?

Is a wall or a roof? Siding over it? Curious why you are using treated lumber?

PL400 works with both, but as Bob said wall or roof. If roof where is underlayment going to go or if it is a wall where is rainscreen going to go?

This is a wall. We are using a mortarless brick ( Novabrik) and the architect specs call for treated 1X3 trreated furring strips,  glues and screwed, with felt or tyvek over furring.  My carpenter says that putting the wrap over the furring strips will be a bitch  especially if we use IWB, and recommends more screws rather than  glue, so that we can put the wrap on before the furring strips.

Is there a recommended spacing, and pattern ?  At what point would the number of penetrations by the screws weaken the osb?

I would slightly stagger @ 8" oc.         you would have to have a screw every 1/2" before it would weaken OSB
