I am a window maker in Nigeria West Africa. I have been thinking for some time why we can not apply polycarbonatre material for window production since it's stronger and lighter. What do you think about this idea?

You might want to get a sample to test to see how easy it is to scratch polycarbonate. Also compare price with glass. Also verify that it will not amber over the years - that is that it will stay clear.

Alton there is right. There are a lot of factors to consider in this matter.

I think this would be another choice idea as glass is heavy, requiring a strong frame. But Polycarbonate is resilient and indestructible. Try it!
