Hello: My house has a 17' x 12' screened-in-porch, the roof of which is a continuation of the main roof on the house. I plan to insulate the porch ceiling with blown cellulose just as the I will do with the main ceilings throughout the house. The hope is that it will stay a little cooler in the summer. Someday, maybe we will add some floor & wall insulation and plexi-glass window panels to make the porch more of a 3 season area. The porch roof is fully vented just like the main roof. The questions are: 1) should I apply vapor barrier to the porch ceiling? 2) Are there any special considerations or problems in insulating a porch ceiling? Thanks, Rob.
Rob.

Install a good vapor barrier below the insulation and good ventilation above.
