My plan was to blow another R30-40 over the existing R20 bats using cellulose...seems the major local supplier just changed hands and is now only selling AttiCat..(free blower with purchase though)... looks like 8 bags to bring the existing R40 up to R80(ish)...

I have a flat roof of about 425 sq/ft that I can add insulation to...the sloped ceiling is R40 and can't be improved (easily).

I have to buy in Kenora since I can't transport the cellulose from Winnipeg (250 km)... I have an old VW Golf and a small utility trailer. Opinions on AttiCat vs cellulose?

All I can tell you is that in geo systems I monitor, those with fiberglass insulation have their geo balance point (temp at which auxiliary must aid heat pump) jump 10 degrees in relatively modest winds. This suggest superior tightness with cellulose.
