Experience is a great teacher. Habitat for Humanity in Yelm Washington built one icf home with a grid wall system by another name...key word "one". It took years to finish and they lost a lot of workers because the heavy (75-100 lbs) blocks were difficult to work with. The amount of foam used to adhere each block was ridiculous not to mention the time it took to do so. Because the project had been stalled out for so long the icf builders working on the other icf homes (various icf manufactures) pitched in and worked together to get the home built. The finished product turned out nicely though thanks to a lot of generous icf builders.
What you will discover on this site is that most of us will not bash other systems and want to simply promote the icf industry as a whole. Sometimes you will find individual's who will promote their system by name over another but as a rule that is not incouraged. We all have our own reasons why we prefer one system over another.
Stay safe in Iraq.
