After numerous numerous requests to Permacrete to stop sending me email SPAM, I give up. I get bonus pricing, new extended dealer info sheets, start up offers, last of the month deals, and a myriad of crap from 4-5 individuals...all from Permacrete!

After one of my direct but still courteous emails about 3 weeks ago to Tim Cutright, the emails as I received them, always 2 at a time, removed one of my email addresses, EVEN THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY SAID IT HAS TO BE ON THE SPAM LIST TWICE!

Let's see, I get email from Tim Cutright, Walt Lippincott, Gary Stikl, Roger Brocker, and generic ones.

Although I indicated the product may be included in future options for clients, if they desire this type of finish, I don't buy any product which cannot comply with reasonable requests to leave me alone until I need them once I have the pertinent info. It no longer matters whether the product is good for ICFs, it has now entered the realm of undesireable products!

Let's see, i got one 10/5, one 10/10, two distinctly different ones 10/16, one 10/17, one 10/27, and so on!

I just don't get it, its just like TV, after the same ads time after time during a 30 minute or an hour program, I don't buy those products either.

My subsequent thoughts for this product will be "non-referred".

And you know what....Permacrete helps support this site, which helps everyone, and I don't care if they like it or not!!!

Hey, I just though it was me that got those annoying e-mails. Someohow I got lucky and about six months back I managed to get them to drop into my junk e-mail folder and don't even make their way to my Outlook folder.

I have this attitude, if I want your product I will call or contact you, these guys are like timeshare telemarketers. And I have NO interest in being a dealer or distributor of anyones product.

Although frustrating, I'm glad others are annoyed too! Maybe they'll get their act together. Its always fun to pass on company names at trade shows, like The Builders Show, Concrete Show, Building Systems get-Togethers, and of course, good old off-line comments to each other.

Sing only came thru once so far, but I'll watch it closely.

Funny thing, Jim, even I am getting slammed by Walt. Repeated attempts to unsubscribe have failed. Their email system must be handled in-house with no automatic unsubscribe function. It might take a phone call to get a response because the email replies go to no one, I believe.

Wow, 216 views of this SPAM BS, and assuming some duplication of viewers, a reasonable guess is 190+ people are wondering whether to Permacrete anything!

What a marvelous return on Spam Marketing....

Permacrete and CapitolOne are probably one in the same, it seems I can't figure out if I get more emails from Permacrete or more pre-approved offers from CapitolOne.

As everything has been quiet for awhile, I hope Permacrete is reviewing their policies in regards to repetitious contacting.

The other term is "Opt-Out", which should be a requirement for anyone using the proverbial free element of emailing!

For awhile I had them going straight to junk, but every now & then - 1 of them finds a way of sneaking by.

Although lately my email has been quiet, it appears that maybe others still have issues. I assume my problem will rear up again!

If everyone has been watching this thread closely, I originally titiled it Permacrete Spam and Spam and Spam...then suddenly it was titled Permacrete.....then Permacrete Spam.

As I mentioned, Permacrete is also a sponsor of this site, and I would also assume the website people try to walk a line between uncaring to its users, and pis... off the sponsor. This is a Sat post, so everyone has the time to decide how to proceed.

I suggest everyone sends an email to the webmaster of this site, explaining our dislike of the Spamming issue, and then hope the website follows thru.

The only other option is to let Parmacrete win, everyone goes elsewhere(remember www. concrete-home.com) and this site of vast info gets pushed away from users, especially those who use, sell, design, and promote ICFs.....the very reason we all are here!

Well, after checking thru the site, they no longer have an email listed, so try the tool-free phone......866-316-5300 and leave a message, only takes a minute, and maybe if enough of us call, they can suggest to Permacrete to tone it down!!

I have not visited Permacrete's website because obviously they are callous to customers, and I am not subjecting myself to that.

And I thank this forum for allowing free speech.

My finger automatically hits the delete button when anything from permacrete arrives...period! I like when a company follows up but their follow up is all fouled up.
