Wondering what experienced guys prefer between Build block and Fox Block. It seems they are a very comparable product and yet Fox Block is listed as quite a bit cheaper. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

I do not use either material but Buildblock has distribution and support in MT -- quite a bit i believe and Fox Block does not.

Last I heard Fox Block is only sold by the truck load, a typical 2000+SF home uses less than a truckload so you are stuck w/ lots of leftover material that isn't that much "cheaper" than a comparable top of the line block at that point. BuildBlock is an excellent block w/ lots of local support in the great state of Montana. Good Luck!

Price can be deceiving. I've dealt with most blocks in the market and if you have to spend a great deal of time bracing the system, it can become costly. I have finally settled on the Nudura ICF. It comes folded so id doesn't use up much space in the truck and it is very strong. We seldom if ever have to do any bracing on the corners, even on a 12' pour. Ken

Fox Block no longer provides pricing online. They took down the link this last week. I prefer transparent businesses that provide pricing online and don't require you to go through a distributor/dealer to purchase. The only ICF manufacture that provides online pricing now is Buildblock. Hopefully that doesn't disappear into the stone age.
