just finished an ICF house with company called I Want A Better House....homeowner beware, he builds an OK house, but it's all the other CRAP you have to deal with........if you do use them proceed with great caution and get EVERYTHING and then some in writing!!!!!

Could I ask you to expand on this a bit. We have actually talked to Tim and have/ are considering going with his company to build our home here in the next year or so. I looked at one of his houses that was mid construction last spring but have not heard back whether it was done and any additional feedback from the homeowners. Thanks Bob

I think this is a good idea for every single job you contract, unless you don't really care how it is done or how much it costs. If you don't care, then don't bother to put it in writing.
