looking for some advice on cutting off this brick ledge, I have about 130 feet to cut. The depth of the cut is about 11 7/8" inches. I was looking at the hilt dch 300 but its cut depth is around 5", so if i was to chip the rest it would leave a crappy cut. anyone have any ideas?

suggest you find a concrete cutting company and try to cut a deal. They have large "wet" saws and should be able to do your poroject without much effort. Have used people like that to cut new windows and doors into icf walls for customers who changed their minds.

Why are you wanting to cut the brick ledge off?

Google [concrete chainsaw]. Concrete cutting chainsaws with 14" bars are available. Check with your local equipment rental place.

If you can't find one to rent locally, you can but one for ~$1200 and then sell it on ebay when you are finished.

Here is one on ebay with a current bid of $800:

8,500 is outrageous. I guess if you can rent the right saw, go ahead. Up here in VT, they are not available for rent.
