Wife and I would like to do something different for external wall of our ICF home.

We like brick but our home is more contemporary design and we do not like stucco since it require  maintenance repainting I thought Stucco was like Concrete no painting require? It sound like a great unique idea for a ICF home I see why it would not be a bad idea if so why?
Thanks!

I have unpainted thin fiber cement applied to foam and it works well. Technically, it could be called stucco. Coloring can be put into the mix if you don't like gray.

What I have is true cement/concrete and I haven't painted it. I think it is similar to this plus some bonding admixture.
