Hi everyone, I would like to receive some information regarding ICF for a residential project. Plans are 95% ready ( based on concrete blocks ) but we will use ICF's if the price difference is not as much Any idea and contact information for sales and installation will be gladly appreciated. I've noticed that they are out there many brands ( Logix, Builblock, Fox Blocks, Quad Locks, ARXX, etc ) but we want to use something close to the concrete block budget, with the extra benefits of the ICF. Thank you in advance for your Help !!! Chris

I used LiteForm knock down ICF panels and ties (similar to Quad Lock) to build my basement and main floor. This is generally one of the lower cost ICF systems. Last time I checked, it was around $2.50/sq ft of wall space for the LiteForm ICF panels and ties. Proximity to the ICF manufacturing plant will also affect your final cost. I see on the LiteForm website that they have a manufacturing facility in Stuart, FL for the their LiteDeck product, but it doesn't specifically mention if the LiteForm ICF is also manufactured there.

The following link indicates that they also provide ICF wall forms:

I've been looking at different manufacturers of ICF as well. The 3 that have intrigued me the most are Amvic, Nudura, and Quad-Lock. I like Amvic's simplicity(standard block forms), Nudura's hinged forms allow more quantity to be shipped, and Quad-Lock's knockdown form allow for design versatility as well as more quantity shipped. Nudura and Quad-Lock come in standard and plus-sized forms (meaning more insulation on one side for an asymmetric wall). I haven't priced Amvic or Quad-Lock, but I was quoted for Nudura's standard form at $3.10/ sq. ft. of wall area. Their plus 1" form was quoted at $3.90/sq. ft. of wall area. I had to submit a contact info form to Nudura's website and they replied with the info of a distributor in my area. They should also be able to help you with installers.

I was quoted $4.22 sq ft of wall about 5 months ago for regular Amvic block.  I heard that they are having/had some incremental cost increase recently, i.e. 3-4%.  I hired a general contractor about one month ago who is using Amvic and Amdeck, but I don't know his cost.  I am located in California.  I heard that Amvic Plus might be only an incremental cost increase, but I already had my plans submitted, and I didn't want to change everything to get that extra foam thickness.  I have already been in the process of getting permits for 5 months.

I believe that Rewards' E-form is molded in Orlando. It's made to compete with concrete block
