Getting started on our new build and would like to find an ICF installer who has experience bracing and pouring walls. We will be using the Hobbs VICF system. We are located in Des Moines, IA. Let me know! Thanks, Matt

Rather than forcing a contractor to use a system you choose, you may be better off letting the contractor choose the product. If an installer is using a product they are not familiar with, there is a chance that either (a) the quality of the work may suffer or (b) the install price will increase to account for the learning curve associated with a new product. This is especially true when you decide to use a vertical system, as the vast majority of installers have used only horizontal ICFs.

should be an easy job for any concrete guys to do. The bracing hobbs specs is identical to what is used with normal forms

Hobbs should be able to recommend a contractor. The ICF block type manufacturers have a good network for each of their respective brands.. I would think Hobbs should be able to recommend an installer

The selection of concrete mix design for Waffle Grid Systems is critical.
You only have 2 inches thick in the web space with Hobbs.
Find a successful experienced Hobbs installer, factory trained.
