Just wanted to let everyone know that my walls are in production and will be here on Dec23. I hope to start assembly on the 3 rd of jan. I decided on 6 inch walls with 10 inch roof. Insulspan is the panel co. MM&I will be suppervising my crew of friends for the assembly. I wanted to offer anyone interested in SIPS to come anytime during the build to see SIPS goin up, no obligation to help. If interested just call me @ (seven zerroo fourr) 779 9867 Hopefully the majority will take place on the 4 and 5 of jan. Not set in stone yet. Also if anyone has any last minute words of advice on recieving my panels, unloading etc.. i would like to hear from you. Thank ya'll for all the help. michael

If you have never worked with or unloaded a SIP package before, I suggest you have an experienced person do it. it's easy to drop a stack of panels or have them slide around in ways you have not planned on... Let us know your experience level and we can point you to some educational info so you're prepared.

Congratulations! Keep us posted on the progress and take some digital pics if possible. We'd love to see them.

OH. If you are not experienced unloading a package, take some good pics of the site and post them in here. We might be able to help with some pointers.

Michael,
Too bad it's not summer; I could bring my boat and we could all go for rides/swim/fish after the work is done!!! I've been to Lake Norman a few times with the ACBS shows at Queens Landing (wooden boat show).

Keep us posted as requested by John.

Im heading to the site this morning to meet the well driller and the Inspector he invited unexpectedly and will take some shots to post here later. Mostly open field sloping at about 3-5% I will be using my own skid steer with borrowed fork ext. No exp help anywhere nearby so im on my own, but will have someone along for dunnage and such. Next time you are around bring one of those wooden honeys by. The dock is mostly finished. Thanks michael
