I am planning the construction of our home and I have a few questions about frost protected shallow foundation. The home is a 1 level bungalow with full basement. My specific question about FPSF is could it be used for the attached double garage or is it essential for the garage to have full depth frost walls (in our region the required depth is 6 feet).
What are your opinions ?
As background info, the foundation and main floor walls will be MgO SIPS (8.25 inchs).
Thank you everyone for your time and expertise on the subject.
