Rosalinda,
I have heard of that problem before in Las Vegas with glass mirrors
mirrored SS laminated over EPS foam is a motled reflective surface, with no direct reflection from the sun does not have the same heat reflection that occurs with flat glass.

The phenomena also happens with normal house window glass. Numerous cases of next door neighbors with melted vinyl siding caused from reflections of the windows from the home next door.

I remember once standing outside in Phx and felt this insane burning sensation in the back of my neck. I thought something stung me but it was the light reflecting from a 2nd story window onto the back of my neck. It was really intense.

There even has been documented cases of fires starting from a glass bottle laying on the side of the road next to dried grass. The sun beats on the bottle and creates a sort of magnifying glass effect and ignites the dried grass.

Remember kids using a magnifying glass to burn the ants? I never did that but I do remember others doing it. This was the time before the internet craze and video games. A time when kids actually played outside for hours on end instead of sitting in front of a screen texting, surfing, and playing video games. I am dating myself but my first online experience as a teenager was with a 1200 baud modem and a Commodore 64 computer, calling a local BBS.

This house is really breathtaking. It will be wonderful to see more pics if the owner is willing to share them when/if he gets them done.

Very cool house, but you have to think it will always be pelted by birds. And how would the dog know when he is home?

Never saw that happen during construction , I think they see their own reflection and fly away,
the dog would have a friend to play with
