Heat of Extraction (HE) - the rate of heat the GSHP is capable of sucking out of the earth, expressed in BTU/hr.

HE = (LWT - EWT) * GPM * 500 (assuming no antifreeze)

In cooling mode, the opposite is Heat of Rejection (HR).
