Got it.
With that said, my system does run well and has exceeded our expectations in comfort in our home and savings in our wallet.
Thanks for the info... and I know ignorance is no excuse but I know for future projects what I need to do.

That plan has my vote.
One footnote however, if you have the space a conditioned closet around the heat pump could eliminate most of the condensate and offer you a
