I have a 4 ton Heat Pump Geosmart, I am having a problem noise. the noise begins when the Heat is beginning into the force air system then I hear a clunk at the end. Over time this clunk has become louder. what is it and what should I do about it.

Iron mud in well pipes.
Is there a process to clean the iron mud out of the pipes of an open loop well system?
I clean the coils 2x a year but the pipes outside of the unit have some buildup.
When moving some of the pipes due to other needs, the service found that the pipes had a significant amount of iron mud in them that you could scoop out with your finger.
How can I clean this out?

Thanks!

Hi, what about the amount of iron mud buildup on the pipes. Is it completely obstructing the water flow through the pipe? If the amount of buildup is too high it's better to replace the pipe with the new one or you can use a sewer snake and a garden hose to clear the water line pathway.
