I am currently planning a two story ICF house on Galveston Island. I am planning on using Insuldeck on the first floor(craw space) and Hambro on the second floor. The Hambro system made more sense to me for the ease of installing HVAC and plumbing. Have not decided if I will do an Insuldeck roof or not.

Is the Hambro system expensive?  Will the floor vibrate when walked upon?

I have only done preliminary pricing on the materials and it seems comparable to the Insuldeck per ft^2. Not sure how it will handle vibrations.

mslgaltx- What vibration concerns do you have? Since this doesn't fit real well with the HVAC topic, feel free to contact me off-line with any questions.

Pick any two.

I went a similar route like Hambro; (Unbranded) K-joists with metal deck and concrete slab. It's fairly easy to route utilities. Photobucket
