2x6 16" oc is R13.7, 2x6 24" oc is R15.2 whole wall.
WI udc allows 24" oc. ,
2x6 24 oc + 1" of xps is R20.2 whole wall.

These figures are from a 2009 Building science report using Minneapolis climate zone 6.

With regards to the roof: in WI you should not have any ducting in the attic based on local building practices and your penetrations are easily sealed at the ceiling plane, why pay to condition an attic that wont be used since you have your basement for storage? Truss the roof, maybe use panels on the vault if your roof planes dont allow an adequate scissor truss.

2 showers in the master, wicked. turn your tub around, no plumbing in exterior walls.

at first I didn't know what you meant about the tub, now I see - you're talking about the 2nd bath, not the master.  good point.  I don't think I intended to put it on the plan that way (like I said, it's far from perfect).  Master doesn't have 2 showers but the program I used only had a 3x3 shower so I put in two to block out the space for a bigger walk-in shower.

Once again, I can't thank you guys enough!  I talked to the wife about SIPs last night, I think she's more open to it than I realized.  We're going to look into it!
