| I am looking for a set of metal, ICF scaffold system, which includes upright, brace+turnbuckle, and walkway bracket all in one. I know they exist, I just dont know where to get them for a good price, the ones here in Canada are real exspensive. |

What's your definition of expensive? How tall are the stiff backs? Who did you check with in Canada? Just a few simple questions to get a better feel.

| Well thats one of my issues, I was wondering if they are extendable, or if they are just one fixed size. I got quoted around $200.00 each, at a home building center in Red Deer, and $175 in Calgary but I haven't even seen them. I've just been using wood 2x4's as uprights and a plywood cleet/bracket I designed for a walkway. With a 2x4 brace attatched to a turnbuckle. |

| That is about the going cost for new bracing. I own reech craft alluminum and they are not extendable. They usaully come as a fixed lenght 8' 10' 12'. Certainly when you use them for the first time you will see a hugh difference in the quality of the job and the time savings. Hope this helps Chuck........ |

NLC; With the exchange rate I would think you could capitalize on a American made alignment system. Metal bracing systems will surely cost what their worth because of non replacement of warped wood, and the recognition you will get with a professional system as you may have experienced already. The metal systems are pricey due to liability, and safety standards that your DIU system might not meet.
As far as being extend-able, you have to look at all systems and make a choice that's right for you. Go to the web sites of a select few ICF manufactures or Google "ICF bracing" or "ICF Alignment" to look at the brands available. There are some extend-able systems that are reasonably priced.
