Anybody heard from Ralph Lord?
The delivery date came and went, he's not responding the phone calls or emails. TIme to call the police?

He has packed up and abandoned the space he had rented in Hooksett, NH.
I heard a rumor that he had moved to the Peterborough area.

He didn't pack up and leave Hooksett, the landlord locked him out. I went looking for him there and discovered another company already in the space. They used their fork truck to puh everything into a corner. His equipment is still there jammed in a corner. From my experience Mr. Lord is a pathological liar, he gave me about 5 absolute delivery dates and never met one. He burned the timber frame company I was using for an excess of $60K. He was moving to Peterborough but last word I got was that he was out of the panel business, probably because he has no equipment anymore. Sorry but you may as well kiss any deposit goodbuy. This low life was still accepting deposits with no intention of filling the orders. Promised a friend that he would order his panels from a competitor but paid for the panels with a bad check, when delivery date came and went my friend called them and they said the job was cancelled because of the bad check and no other contact from our friend Ralph. That is a low life, but alas that is my opinion.

My crew did a $12,000.00 panel install job for Ralph Lord and its been 3 months since we did the work and have not received $1 for our services. After repeated attempts to call and email Ralph with no success, we are taking him to court. We filled in last minute for an install crew that backed out of the job...we should have walked from the job when he conveniently forgot the deposit when we showed up to do the work on day 1. Ralph was paid in full by the client for the work we did, he just decided to pocket it and have never heard from him again.
Ralph Lord of Hooksett, NH and New World Panels seemed like an honest guy when we met him, but he is as dishonest and cruel a business man I have ever come across. I also know that he took a large deposit for a panel job recently and has not returned any phone calls to the client. Its just not right.
Its one thing if he ran into financial trouble and kept the lines of communication open, and offered to at least make it right with us and those he has ripped off.
Make sure to let everyone you know in the building industry what your situation is with Ralph Lord so that no one else gets burned. Also, lets post his new home address on here so that if anyone wants to take him to court to try and collect their money, they can do that.

Unfortunately, I also need to find Ralph Lord, as he has my panel deposit since 12/1/08 and has not returned my phone calls/emails since. If anyone knows how/where to reach him and what the legal process is in NH I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks. |

Definitely message me so we can talk. If he cashed your check in December I think we can get him for fraud. I already spoke with the district attorney's office. He would like to set up a group call/meeting next Wednesday.
Maybe then he'll give us our money back! |

He has definitely committed fraud in these cases. I would like to be on the call with the District Attorney if we can get that organized. |

HAHA! He just emailed me to say that he'll send me a refund in February. I talked to a builder he's been stringing along for two years - so don't believe it if you get this "promise". I'll update everyone when I hear from the district attorney.
I guess he saw this thread and is trying to string us out so he can vanish. |

You're certainly right not to trust him. If the stuff that you folks are saying about him is correct (which I would imagine would be, given the overwhelming response), he is a con artist of the worst kind. Do not, under any circumstances, give him even an inch of leeway. And make sure any type of contact you have with him (or anything, even a rumor, that you hear about him) is recorded well. Time and date, and the overall feeling of the conversation. All this stuff will be invaluable if you ever manage to nail him. |

He was renting a house from Bob Tortorice at 49 Hale True Road, Chester, NH
I know he was way behind on the rent so Bob went to court to evict him.
I don't know if he is still in the house or not.

Also, we got word that he was in the process of purchasing property out of the country. He might have already bought the property (probably with our money!). He was trying to get my lead framer to go in on it with him before we found out he was a scam artist.

I think its time that everyone got together and filed formal complaints with the district attorney. He is starting another venture, and who knows how many more people he is going to scam. He has to be stopped. What he did to all of us is fraud and he belongs behind bars for a long time.
Contacting Ralph isnt going to do any good. We need to contact each other and formulate a plan to go after him. |
