Can someone please let me know what the specifics are on the default filter that comes with a Climatemaster 5-Ton TT064 packaged unit?

It needs replaced, and to be honest, I just hung up on our installer, after 30 minutes on the phone, on hold as they transferred me 3 times to people that don't think it is their job to handle filters.......

Can't these things be ordered online somewhere?

Can you measure what you have?

If its anything like my Waterfurnace its much bigger than anything available at Lowes / HomeDepot. I favor MERV 11 filters - tight enough for good filtration but not overly restrictive.

Big filters available on web at Filters-Now - I think the brand is Accumulaire.

My WF takes a 30x36x2,

Mine looks to be similar.... Exact measurements are 29 3/16 wide, 35 1/2 high, about 2 deep. as a fairly tight fit.
The manufacturer looks like GlassFloss

Would I order 30x36x2 and assume that fits the unit. I assume nominal sizes always tend to be a bit smaller.

I assume that Glassfloss is lower-end? I see references to them being used as regular filters and pre-filters....

I'll try one of the Accumulaire ones...

thanks

Dan,

I too have the same heat pump. I ordered my filters from www. Filter-now.com. They use the Accumulair porous media to fabricate the filters to what ever size you order. There are other companies on the web that will fabricate the filter to what ever size you want. Look around. You will save money if you order 4 or more filters.

I got the 12 Merv filters and I ordered four.

Regards,

Thanks

I did call them yesterday. I ordered two (Merv 11, merv 13) at 35.5Hx 29.25Wx2.0D
If they fit, I'll order more there.

The original one seems to have lasted about two and a half months Oct-Jan. Notice it is showing dirt, so not sure I'm going to even go close to the 6mo that they said would be normal. I'll probably end up changing them in 3-4 month cycles.

About how long are you going on yours (I know various environmental differences affect this)......
