I am looking for a contractor who can help with a small (2 room) addition, plus a foyer on a house in Maryland.  Initially, we need someone who can help with some cost estimates as we decide on the design, and then who can build the addition.  We are trying to go as green as possible so need someone who is familiar with approaches like ICF or SIPs.  As much as I wish we had unlimited money, we are on a tight budget so can't go hog wild.

Thanks

Hello there... Have you checked your local listings for licensed contractors? I am based here in Missouri and what we do in this kind of situation is we get referrals at first and check out potential contractors but if that does not work, we further our search by browsing the net.
Eckhoff Construction LLC is among the leading general contractors in Columbia MO.

Where in MD are you?  I am  located on the Eastern Shore but have contacts throughout the state.  I specialize sustainable technologies, ICFs mostly, and SIPs as well.  There are a couple of ICF people here are the Shore as well as one or two up towards NE MD that I can think of.
