robin, Polycrete is a Canadian company. US Government procurements under Buy American act can include products from Canada.

Even a retired engineer can build a house successfully w/ GBT help!

NAFTA rules allow Canadian building products if the total value of the construction project is greater than $7.443 million. That having been said, since Polycrete products are inventoried in the USA and are available to for sale to the private sector under the same terms and conditions as the government, they are now considered a "commercial off the shelf" (COTS) item, and Buy American rules do not apply. Thanks for that good question.

Robin,
If you want to use Polycrete Big Block for your DIY project, we will try to introduce you to a local installer who would be willing to work alongside you. Feel free to message me your details.

People, I am new to this forum and reading the post is why I did not in the past get on to them. I am only on it now because I am looking for an ICF sub in SW Kentucky. However I agree with both of you in some ways. Bruce the other ICF that I have used in the past will stand up to the concrete pour it will just take more care to do this when Polycrete and all the rest is finished as long as the installer did his job correct they are the same. I will say that the Big Block performs better and faster than any other forms I have used. But what I do is all commercial and Polycrete is the best for that. not saying that I would not use it for residential. As far as no formed corners and a steel track to start your form perfect, I love it like the husband I never had. ICF get four stars from me for construction. Now gentlemen please kiss and make up. Also this will be my last post on this topic.
