I have searched this forum but did not find anything substantial. I am going to have a new icf home built. I want someone who is experienced with this. When I search icf home builders in st louis most of the companies that come up only do patios and foundations. Most have never even heard of an icf. Can anyone recommend a good experienced builder that does icf. Also can I just have them do the forms and contract the rest of the work out myself or should plumbing, electrical, finishing, ect. be done by someone experienced with icf.

Go to the distributors of the block and ask them who is their most reliable, long term contractor customer and start there. Start wth 3. Interview them and talk to their references.

You can do the utilities yourself, but I highly recommend the assistance of a plumber, electrician, etc., that has experience on ICF. In advance, before you make the mistakes that take so much needless effort to correct. Once you find the ICF contractor, he will know subs that he likes to have work on his jobs.
