read the day before. I go to several forums each day including this one and the ones that have 'pages' on the thread will take you back to where you stopped reading the thread the day before when you click on it the next day. Is there a way this forum can start doing this? The way it's set up now with IT, every time you go to a thread to see what recently has posted....you either have to start at the beginning or guess where you left off the day before.

Robinnc,

That happens to me only when I do not log in with my name and password.  Usually, I just tell Internet Explorer to remember my login.  If you are logged in and it does not take you to where you quit reading, then it must be something with your browser or maybe something changed by the administrator.

Alton,

I just saw where you replied. You mean it does do that? I'm always logged on here and it never goes back to where I read a thread the day before and came back the next day and it started where I left off. I do use Firefox....could this be the reason?

I do not know about Firefox but Internet Explorer always takes me back to where I need to start reading un-read postings provided that I am logged in.  When I am not logged in, the un-read is not highlighted.  In fact, the browser starts at the beginning of the oldest post.  Someone who uses Firefox may be able to answer your question.
