Also, when you mention "spans", are you referring to the spans where the SIP would attach/screw down to a beam? For instance, if you have a 25' SIP and you have it attached at 3 points or every 8' (ridge beam, center beam, wall). Would that be viewed as a 25' span or a 8' span?
I believe what you have described is called a multi-span.  A multi-span chart should be used as opposed to a single span.  Although the load can be heavier for a multi-span than a single span, it is still best not to use the maximum load as shown in the chart.  Otherwise, deflection and/or vibration may become a problem.

Alton, agreed, except I have no problem "maxing -out" span charts as they have a "safety factor" of 2.5

I did not mean to reflect on your SIPs.  I was speaking in a general way like selecting I-Joists or beams.
